Sterile Processing Universal, is a professional development and consulting firm that specializes in the development of professionals in the healthcare industry and professionals aspiring to become entrepreneurs.
Mrs. Leza Watkins is the Founding Member and CEO of Sterile Processing Universal. She has earned her Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Strayer University, a professional certification as a Certified Central Service Technician (CRCST) from the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiels Management (IAHCSMM), and Mrs. Watkins also holds a certificate as a Professional Instructor (PIC) from the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA).
Mrs. Watkins’ professional knowledge includes more than 16 years of combined experience as a Central Service Technician, Instructor, Consultant, and business woman. During this time, Mrs. Watkins also successfully managed another educational consultant firm that specialized in training and consulting for the medical field of Central Service. In addition to her professional experience, Mrs. Watkins is also a member of the Mid-Atlantic Central Service Association (MACSA) and a member of the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiels Management (IAHCSMM).
Additionally, Mrs. Watkins is involved with two community based organizations. She is the Director of Community Engagement for The Philly Urban Creators which focuses on community development and urban farming, and she is also on the Board of The Y.A.H.R.U.B.A. Group an economic and community development non-profit organization.
Mrs. Edna Money is a managing member of Sterile Processing Universal (SPU). Mrs. Money’s professional experience includes over 35 years of administrative experience in the legal field, with an additional 10 years of experience as a Judicial Secretary for a prominent judge in the Philadelphia Family Court system.
In 2016 after retirement from the legal field, Mrs. Edna as she is known by our clients, decided to join SPU and bring her administrative expertise to the team. Since 2016, Mrs. Edna has been dedicated to the success of our clients and the SPU team.
Mrs. Anyae Jordan is a managing member of Sterile Processing Universal (SPU) and has been with SPU since its inception. Mrs. Jordan has over 4 years of experience in the field of Central Service as a Quality Assistant/ Educator, Central Service Technician, Instructor, and Tutor. She has earned her Central Service Certifications as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) and Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) from the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiels Management (IAHCSMM).
Mrs. Jordan also holds a certificate as a Professional Healthcare Instructor (PIC) from the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA), and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, at State College of Florida.
Ms. Reagan Watkins is the Director of Social Media Marketing for Sterile Processing Universal (SPU) and has been with SPU since its inception. As a valuable member of the company, Ms. Reagan provides a unique perspective to SPU’s Social Media and online presence.
Ms. Watkins is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in English at Temple University.
